Hey there! I'm Gabriela, the owner and baker at Bakehouse. My passion for baking began at a very young age. My mother worked hard to support my brothers and I, so at home we had to learn to cook and prepare meals for ourselves. Through this, I developed a special love for cooking. Several years later I attended culinary school in Mexico and discovered it was not cooking I loved most, but pastries.

At the age of 18 I began to create and sell my custom cakes and pastries to my family and friends. As the demand grew, I knew I needed to take my business to the next level and expand to my community. Thus, Bakehouse was formed.
With nearly 20 years of culinary experience, I am ready to bring my creativity to you. I am excited to be a special part of your wedding, birthday celebration, baby shower, or another special day. My hope is that every client is overjoyed with the final result - both visual and taste. When my clients are smiling, than I am one happy baker!
Baking is my passion and creative outlet. It calms me, relaxes me, and allows me to express who I am in a unique way.

More importantly, baking is a way of life for me. As a mama, I know how important it is to create a path that allows me to support my daughters and establish generational wealth. Baking is a my path to do this.

Not only will I be teaching my girls that they can follow their dreams, but I will be creating a support system for them now and in the future. Finding a career that allows me to do something I love is a wish come true.
